Opening Images in Astra Image

Astra Image has a lot of powerful functions for enhancing images, and the first step in using that power is to open an image. There are several ways to open images in Astra Image:

  • After starting Astra Image, select File > Open and choose the image you want to open. You can also select a recently opened file from the File > Recent Files menu.
  • Images can be pasted from the clipboard by selecting Edit > Paste.
  • You can drag an image from Windows Explorer and drop it onto the Astra Image application.
  • Astra Image can also open files from the command line. For example, in a command prompt window, you can type: AstraImageWindows.exe [Filename of Image]. This command will start the Astra Image application and load the image.
